Business Analyst Operation Technology Delivery – OT, IoT, Asset Systems Delivery

Are you a Business Analyst who thrives in complex, high-impact technology environments? Do you bring hands-on experience working across Operational Technology (OT), IoT, and Asset/ERP systems within the NSW Government?

This is a delivery focused Business Analyst position with strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement. You’ll support the delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions by gathering requirements, analysing business processes, mapping integrations, and acting as a key conduit between technical teams, vendors, and business units. Your focus will be on IoT-enabled infrastructure, asset lifecycle systems, and ERP-related solutions.

Essential Criteria:

• Detailed technology delivery Business Analysis experience on end to end basis.
• Extensive background in Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), Asset Management projects.
• Experience within the NSW Government, especially in Transport / Sydney Trains or Sydney Water or Similar.
• Detailed experience in stakeholder engagement, running workshops and meetings.
• Experience in documentation and supporting project managers.

  
Desirable:

• Experience with rostering / scheduling systems
• Experience with Wi-Fi delivery within a IoT setting;
• Experience Asset management systems;
• Experience with POS and ticketing systems
• Experience with incident management systems;

Key Responsibilities:
  

• Elicit and document business and functional requirements for OT, IoT, and ERP system enhancements
• Map current vs future state processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Engage stakeholders across business, technical, and vendor environments
• Translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes and user stories
• Support testing, training, and change activities across the program lifecycle
• Align analysis with PRINCE2/hybrid delivery methodologies
