About the Role
You are a skilled Change Manager who leads transformative change initiatives across infrastructure, network resilience, and multi-stream systems technology programs, including systems delivery, operational technology (OT), and cloud systems. You will drive change for rapid response programs, balancing project-based and Business As Usual (BAU) work, with a focus on government multi-stream technology programs requiring organisation-wide matrixed collaboration.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Change Manager delivering multi-stream technology programs, ideally within government or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Expertise in managing change for systems delivery, rapid response programs, and both project and BAU work.
- Strong skills in gap analysis and business case writing to support change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multifunctional project teams and foster organisation-wide collaboration.
- Deep understanding of program governance and impact assessment including risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Highly desirable but not essential skills
- Experience with NSW government and/or Transport / Heavy engineering industries / Operation Technology industries;
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or Kotter’s 8-Step Process).
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with operational technology (OT) and cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in change management, business, IT, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support complex programs in infrastructure, network resilience, OT, and cloud systems.
- Lead change for systems delivery, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Manage rapid response programs, driving agile change in high-pressure environments.
- Support both project-based initiatives and BAU operations, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify change impacts and readiness.
- Create compelling business cases to secure stakeholder support for change initiatives.
- Facilitate multifunctional project teams, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
- Establish robust program governance to ensure compliance, transparency, and effective change delivery.
- Drive organisation-wide collaboration in government multi-stream technology programs, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Monitor and report on change adoption, addressing resistance and ensuring sustainable outcomes.
