An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Change and communications Manager / Change & communications Analyst to support the rollout of a large-scale enterprise data platform transformation program.

This role will play a key part in driving both organisational change and technical change, communications, and adoption across a complex environment involving data engineers, architects, business stakeholders and senior leadership.

You will help translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical communications and training programs, ensuring teams across the organisation successfully adopt new data platforms, tools and processes.

This role would suit a highly proactive change professional with strong technical writing skills and experience delivering change within data transformation programs.
  
Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering both organisational and technical change management in IT or ideally data transformation / data platform build programs
  • Strong change analysis and management background, writing and implementing change scenarios and running workshops with large audiences
  • Strong technical writing and communications skills
  • Detailed experience in stakeholder mapping, gap analysis, change methodology design, schedule of plans and implementing change
  • Demonstrated experience simplifying technical or data-related information for business audiences
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder mapping and readiness planning
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs and adoption initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across senior executives, technical teams and operational staff
  • Ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-paced program environment

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working on data platforms, data migration or analytics transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to Microsoft data stack technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform or Power BI
  • Experience working with data engineers, data architects or enterprise data teams
  • Previous experience within NSW Government or State Government environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver end-to-end change management strategies supporting the rollout of an enterprise data platform and analytics environment
  • Plan and run change workshops, stakeholder consultations, training sessions and information forums
  • Develop communication strategies and program collateral across multiple channels
  • Translate complex technical documentation into clear, accessible content to support engagement and adoption
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping, change impact assessments and gap analysis
  • Develop change scenarios, implementation roadmaps and adoption plans
  • Work closely with data engineers, data architects and technology teams to ensure alignment between technical delivery and organisational readiness
  • Monitor and report on change activities, risks, issues and program progress
  • Support change and communications across multiple interconnected technology projects
