Infinity Pro is seeking an experienced SAP EAM Functional Advisor / Functional Consultant to support an asset-intensive organisation using SAP S/4HANA.

You will help operational stakeholders get more value from the existing solution: understanding its capabilities, investigating functional issues, assessing enhancements and improving processes, reporting and system usage.

This opportunity suits a senior SAP EAM consultant, SAP Plant Maintenance functional lead or functional solution architect who can translate complex SAP functionality into clear, practical business advice.

The immediate focus is stabilisation, improvement and assurance, working alongside business SMEs and existing technical specialists.

Essential Experience

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP EAM and asset-management processes, including relevant S/4HANA experience and understanding of maintenance workflows.
• Experience reviewing an operational SAP solution, investigating functional gaps and advising on improvements, defects and enhancement requests.
• Understanding of asset master data, SAP table relationships, data exports and reporting capabilities, including how data and process issues affect the information available to users.
• Familiarity with Fiori-enabled business processes, integration dependencies and authorisation requirements across business units or geographic areas.
• ALM knowledge relevant to SAP environments. Please distinguish your Asset Lifecycle Management experience from your SAP Cloud ALM knowledge and practical responsibilities.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder communication, analytical problem-solving and change/risk-management capability, supported by relevant qualifications or substantial equivalent experience.

Highly Regarded but Not Essential

• Transport, maritime or other heavy-asset industry experience would be advantageous.
• Additional relevant experience includes SAP EAM post-go-live support, functional architecture, maintenance-process improvement and SAP integration with Esri/GIS or Mercury.

You do not need to have held an Architect title if your functional knowledge and business advisory experience are strong. Previous configuration experience is useful, but configuration delivery is not the primary focus.

What You Will Do

• Advise business users on SAP asset and maintenance functionality, workflows and opportunities for better system use.
• Investigate issues with technical specialists, distinguishing functional, data, access, integration and process causes.
• Assess enhancement requests, standard functionality and customisation implications, supporting sound decisions and functional assurance.
• Review asset information, reporting requirements and export capabilities, helping stakeholders interpret the available data.
• Work through connected processes involving materials, HR/workforce information and other relevant modules.
• Facilitate workshops, document decisions and support readiness, user guidance, governance and operational improvement.

Working Arrangements

Milsons Point is the primary office, with 50% onsite attendance. Travel to other offices, including Newcastle or Tugun on occasion.
Candidates must have appropriate Australian working rights and reside in NSW for the assignment.
