We are seeking an experienced Identity Access Management (IAM) Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing team delivering critical identity and access initiatives across enterprise environments.
This is a strong opportunity for a BA who can operate across both business and technical domains — someone who is confident running workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, mapping workflows and data flows, and translating business needs into clear technical and functional specifications. At the same time, you will bring solid experience in IAM, access management, integrations, and security, enabling you to work closely with engineering and cybersecurity teams on complex identity solutions.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process mapping, data mapping, and technical/functional documentation
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, tools, and delivery practices
- Hands-on exposure to platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft IAM / Entra ID / Active Directory, or similar
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, including IAM integration with bespoke and enterprise applications
- Understanding of security and cybersecurity principles as they relate to identity, authentication, authorisation, and access management
- Experience documenting APIs, data flows, system interactions, and integration specifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both business stakeholders and highly technical teams
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Highly regarded experience
- Exposure to identity engineering or identity lifecycle management
- Experience with access provisioning, directory services, and authentication / authorisation frameworks
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, enterprise integration, and application connectivity
- Experience using LeanIX, Lucidchart, SAP Signavio or similar architecture / process modelling tools
Key responsibilities
- Lead business requirements gathering through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
- Translate requirements into high-quality functional and technical documentation
- Produce process maps, workflow diagrams, system interaction models, and data flow documentation
- Document current state and future state processes using tools such as LeanIX, Lucidchart, Signavio or similar
- Work closely with technical teams to define IAM integration requirements across enterprise applications and platforms
- Analyse and document identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, provisioning, access changes, and deprovisioning
- Support the design and documentation of IAM connectors, integration services, APIs, and access workflows
- Collaborate with security, engineering, platform and application teams to ensure solutions align with cybersecurity and access control requirements
- Assist with testing, issue analysis, implementation support, and delivery readiness across project phases
