Work on a major NSW Government workplace relocation and transition program involving approximately 2,500 staff across multiple business groups and floors.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale workplace planning, workforce impact and office relocation program based around Parramatta Square.

This role will suit a methodical, highly collaborative BA who is strong across discovery, planning, stakeholder engagement, business requirements, process mapping, documentation, Excel-based data analysis and practical delivery support.

You will be working across a significant workplace transition program involving block-and-stack planning, workforce movement analysis, relocation readiness, stakeholder coordination and business impact assessment across multiple groups, floors, vendors and project stakeholders.
  
About you

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in NSW Government, public sector, property, workplace, facilities, transformation, relocation or change programs.
  • Strong skills in business requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews and documentation.
  • Strong workflow mapping, process mapping and business process management capability.
  • Experience supporting workplace impact assessment, workforce planning, relocation planning or organisational change activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data cleansing, data wrangling, analysis, registers and reporting.
  • Exposure to Power BI dashboards or similar reporting tools would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both senior and operational stakeholders.
  • A highly organised, methodical and collaborative working style.

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Workplace relocation or office transition projects.
  • Block-and-stack planning or floor movement planning.
  • Workforce impact assessments.
  • Government accommodation, property, workplace strategy or facilities projects.
  • Large-scale stakeholder engagement across multiple business units.
  • Power BI reporting or dashboard support.
  • NSW Government project environments.

  
Key responsibilities

  • Support the discovery and planning phases of a workplace relocation and transition program.
  • Conduct workplace impact assessments and help translate findings into clear, practical documentation.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements from a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Map current and future state business processes, workflows and operational impacts.
  • Assist with workforce planning, relocation planning, block-and-stack planning and floor movement analysis.
  • Work with project managers, business representatives, vendors and other stakeholders to support office transition activities.
  • Prepare clear documentation, registers, analysis packs, briefing notes and decision-support material.
  • Use advanced Excel to manage, cleanse, analyse and interpret workforce, floor, group and relocation-related data.
  • Support reporting and dashboarding activities, ideally including exposure to Power BI.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across senior, operational and project delivery levels.
